Financial Assistance
Financial Overview
In 2009, 30,000 teens participated in our Y Teen programs. All of these teens were able to participate at no cost to the participant or family. This is made possible through generous donations, sponsorship and foundation support. The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette's Strong Communities Campaign and Tee-off For Teens Golf Fundraiser are examples of annual events which raise money for YMCA Teen Division programs.

History
The YMCA has a long history of providing programs and services to people of all ages. In 1999 we recognized the need to offer programs for teens. In 2002 a $125,000 multi-year grant was received from the The Collins Foundation. This grant paved the way for the formation of the Teen Division, which today provides After School Programs and our Phoenix program.
